NEW SSSSmoking Samsung Google S i9020

I'm selling a new Samsung Google S i9020. The phone will come to you in original box and with plenty of accessories to keep you going throughout any busy day. It comes with a protective case, screen protector, a brand new wallet sized DigiPower emergency charge card ($30 value) and an emergency 20000mah high capacity battery backup power bank ($40 value). This is the best deal out there. You won't find anyone else out there giving you this much goodness for less. Ask yourself: Why pay more for less when I can pay less for more?

110$

- Mar 14, 2014 - 08:41 PM

I can't do $110 Yousef. This is a brand new phone with lots of accessories.

- Mar 18, 2014 - 11:53 PM

Its also almost 4 years old

- Mar 19, 2014 - 08:29 AM

And so Jeffalicious you think it's worth $110 just because it's almost 4 years old?

- Mar 22, 2014 - 10:38 PM

How much without accessories?

- Mar 22, 2014 - 11:55 PM

$160 without accessories.

Apr 04, 2014 - 10:00 AM

$95

- Apr 04, 2014 - 10:40 AM

Were you looking for a used one at that price?

Apr 24, 2014 - 02:19 PM

Are you still firm on 170? I'm a potential buyer just not at 170 for a 4 year old single core phone thats similar to a Galaxy S1

- Apr 24, 2014 - 03:49 PM

It's actually a great deal for what I am offering with it. Go on Amazon and you will see that the going price for a new one is 180, and that is without screen protector, case, and a backup battery power bank:

So I'm not even being close to unreasonable for what I am asking for.

Thank You

Is this the i9020A or i9020T?

- May 17, 2014 - 08:36 PM

Hey Wake, I just wanted to say that I think you were pretty unreasonable and unfair with your critique of the item. For beginners, as a person who is simply a buyer and seller of cell phones, it is unreasonable for you to think that I would have the technical knowledge to know that the bootloader was unlocked or that the radio firmware was incorrect. In fact, I don't even know what a bootloader is or where it is found, and it's not like I'm alone. The majority of people do not buy phones for the purpose of messing around with the internal mechanism, so the majority of people are not even aware of a bootloader or radio firmware. I know I wasn't.

Secondly, the phone was sent to me from Asia, and the box that it was sent in was the one that I posted the pictures for buyers to see. As far as I know, since I have never been to Asia and therefore am not aware of the boxes that are used by Samsung in that region, that is the original box. But evidently you frequent that region and are well aware of what boxes their phones are packaged in, so you are in a position to say that it was not in its original box.

The bottom line is that I can only advertise what I know to be true, and I wish you would have contacted me with these issues so that you could have received more information before leaving such a comment. Thank You

Sorry Wizard. I think my assessment was fair. I said the phone was in great shape but doesn't appear to be new based on some basic factors. Having the box in hand I can see that the Samsung logo is not the actual Samsung logo. I think that's something anyone who is reasonably knowledgeable of electronics would see at first glance. Once I noticed that, I looked at pictures of the Nexus S packaging and saw that it comes in a white box with a picture of the device on the front. That is research I could have done before buying, but it's research you definitely should have done as a seller before advertising a device as "new" and "in original packaging." The software factors I mentioned were things you wouldn't have seen if you didn't boot the device yourself, so I can't fault you for missing them. I would suggest filing a complaint with your merchant because it appears they may be tampering with device software before selling you to.

The bottom line is that I would buy from you again because I think your price was fair, and you shipped the phone quickly. I will update my review to reflect that.

However I think that as a seller it's your responsibility to make sure your advertisements and product information are accurate.

Hello Wake, I want to first thank you for the reply. Secondly, I want to say that I can understand the point that you are trying to make, but here is my point that I was hoping that you would understand: I’ve seen plenty of Samsung boxes, but since I received the phone from another part of the world, when I first saw the box, I didn't think much of it. I just concluded that Samsung sold their phones in other parts of the world in different boxes or packaging. And when I looked at the phone, its condition only helped to reinforce that idea. It's like if you were to go to visit Mcdonald’s in other countries you will be aware of the fact that since people differ, Mcdonald's menus are different from the Mcdonald's menu here. So if you were to receive a menu that is from a Mcdonald's in another country you wouldn't immediately think “Oh, that’s not a McDonald's menu.” Instead, you would conclude, “Oh, that’s a McDonald’s menu from a different part of the world.’

- May 18, 2014 - 02:02 PM

So the same thing happened to me here. Upon seeing the phone I'm thinking "different part of the world + different people + different marketing = different box from Samsung.” I'm not thinking, "All Samsung boxes are alike, so that can’t be a Samsung box." In fact, because this is not the way that I was thinking, I even put a picture of the box in the listing. So I wouldn’t necessarily say that it was a lack of research that led to my conclusion (I do have other Samsung phones in different boxes that I’m selling).
Anyway, I hope you understand what I am trying to say because I don’t want you or anyone else to have the impression that I was being dishonest or deceptive when the truth is that I just happened to look at the same product that you looked at and arrived at a different conclusion. Thank You By the way, if you are looking for a specific phone, let me know and I can try to find it.
