Hey I received the Blackberry Playbook today and the power cable has electrical tape on it. What is up with that? Also, it won't go past the boot up screen. Is there something wrong with it not advertised?

Please respond right away about how your item isn't as advertised.

the playbook should boot into setup where you can select your language, wifi settings, and other basic things. i booted it to the language select screen right before i sent it and then turned it off and packed it up. boot up usually takes around 2 minutes so give it time. how long have you let it sit on the splash screen for?

With the power cable issue, It works perfect. the outer wrapping has a slight tear in it that happened after i posted the listing and i couldn't figure out how to edit my posting. its a common issue with the playbook chargers. i wrapped it pretty heavily but you should be fine with it off or with just a light layer of tape. sorry for any confusion
