This phone was used by an exec in my company and lived in a case its whole life. The phone looks fantastic with no chipping or major scratches, and is not connected to any Apple account, so activation with Verizon will be no problem. You can see that this phone used a screen protector. This phone has not been jailbroken or modified in any way (but could be easily if that's your thing)

Hi, I read your comments, but just to be sure. All {passwords & user accounts/Apple ID/ICloud & Find My iPhone Status} linked to the phone been reset/removed or disabled? Also, was this phone on a corporate account? If so, has it been deactivated from that account?

Brian, The battery works well. Yes there are some small scuffs on the screen that don't show up in the pictures, mainly around the edges and ear speaker where the screen protector didn't cover.

Rick, There are no passwords or accounts on the device, and it has been factory reset. I tested it to be sure it is not locked by Find My iPhone. It was, but is no longer connected to a company account. There should be no problem using it with your Verizon SIM card.

Rick, you are assuming correctly, no accessories at all. Yes it was on a Verizon account previously. You will need a Verizon SIM card to register it with your Verizon account. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Um Pat, CDMA 3G device does not need a sim card for Verizon. LTE (4G) on verizon do need a sim card...
If you want to use a 4s out of the country on another carrier (GSM), then yes, a sim card is required...
