Great condition Galaxy S-3 for T-Mobile. Ready to activate with included T-Mobile Sim.

One small scratch on screen, (not even noticeable with screen on) and small dent and some feathering cracks on the back (from removing the back). Please see the pictures I will try to capture as best I can. Other than that the bezel is great and the phone looks excellent.

Stock Samsung Never Rooted or tampered with, (it was my wife's phone) no need really works great with Android 4.3 and TouchWiz.

Included : Titanium Colored Galaxy S-3, unactivated Sim Card, unused Samsung Headphones, Charger/data cable, Body Glove Case, not original Blue Box and Owners manual.

I would be happy to root the device and put the recovery of your choice on it, then you could flash whatever ROM you may want. That way you would be familiar with finding and flashing so you could change and update etc.etc. I feel like ROM choice is kinda personal and based your expectations.

As for the root, I'm just looking to get the latest Android OS/Kitkat and the ability to use F-Droid for adblocking.

I will just leave it stock and make sure that it is up to current TMO standards as far as software. and that way it will catch any TMO OTA updates that happen to come and you will have the most current software that is released for the device. If you decide to root it is simple on these devices and there is a lot step by step guides on it.
