What Android version is on the phone? I'm replacing the identical phone that was rooted and BL unlocked and need to be able to do the same to and MAXX HD I buy. Prefer Android 4.1.1 or 4.1.2.

Also, how old is the phone (I'm concerned about battery age).

Android 4.1.2 . Battery life is excellent. It last longer than my current phone the galaxys4. Perfect for rooting and unlocking. Like I said in the forward, factory state has been restored. When I was using it, I had it rooted and running Kali Linux for work.
