Very good condition - White 16GB model - Rooted w/ Custom ROM + Seidio Case & Screen Protector

As stated in the headline, for sale is a white SGS3 in very good condition. It has been in a case (Seidio Active I believe) for the entirety of the time I have owned it (~1.5 years or so) with a screen protector. As Verizon is really bad about providing updates, it was rooted almost immediately and has been on a custom ROM (Android software) with the latest PhilZ recovery (can change that if you want). Currently it is on the latest version of SlimKat (6.4 - updated as of 7/14/2014), Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat. I don't think I know how to return it to stock, but would be happy to put any custom software version you want on it before mailing to you. Otherwise, I'll wipe everything completely clean and leave a fresh version of the software of your choice on it before mailing.

Cosmetically overall in good condition. The only blemish is a small dent in one of the speakers on the back...the dent does not at all affect sound quality. It is loud and clear. Otherwise no other issues with the phone. Screen is flawless. Phone works great...even more so that it has the latest version of Android on it (where other sellers might have Android 4.2 or 4.3 on it...very old). Only reason why I am selling is because I upgraded. Clean IMEI...just take it to Verizon and have them port your number over for you.

Comes with the case and screen protector currently on it (remove both at your own desire or tell me you don't want them). Does not come with a charger though, sorry. Micro SD card slot works fine, but no SD card will be included with purchase. Expandable up to 32gb (potentially 64).

Feel free to contact with questions or request more pictures.

Damage description

Minor dent in one of the speakers on the rear of the phone. Does not at all affect sound quality or volume.

$140 for the phone is a fair price, given it is in really good condition. I can't let it go for $100.

Andrea can you provide some guidance on links or where I could get the information for troubleshooting issues with the rom in the future should i have problems?

This is the link to the forum thread that one would go to in order to ask a question about the SlimKat ROM in particular.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400577

They also have a very helpful website: http://www.slimroms.net/

However, I would be happy to put whatever ROM you want on there (Cyanogenmod, for example, or a more stable version of SlimKat rather than what is on there now). Links to other ROMs can be found at this link one level up, along with a myriad of other posts that you could search in to help you troubleshoot any problems, questions about maintaining a rooted device, etc. XDA is the place to go to learn how to keep your phone in good running order on the latest software (which gets updated daily-weekly).

As far as the $125 offer, I will respectfully hold out a little longer here as I think this particular phone, compared to the others currently on this market, carries a premium due to a) Most recent Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat software (stock versions most likely have 4.3...rather old); b) no damage to the screen; and c) great protective case. $140 is also priced at or below the majority of the other phones up for sale.

I am interested in this. Is there any flaws with the softwares upgraded to? I just need a working phone that will give me rest of mind. Is it with any contract? Or can it accept other gsm ? Am member of xda for over 2 years but not really tech guy. Am willing to pay.

In your case, or potentially any case, for someone not necessarily familiar with rooting and/or upgrading a rooted device, I would suggest I install the latest snapshot (which means stable or very very close) version of Cyanogenmod 11 (as of early July 2014 I believe). This will likely be more stable than SlimKat and is much more easily upgradeable to a novice (CM11 has a built in updater that does pretty much all the work for you); alternatively, it would definitely be useable as your daily driver no problems should you never want to upgrade it in the future.

As far as your other question...this is a CDMA phone only. It will not work with GSM networks, but not sure about other CDMA's. That would be at your own risk.
