In other words, was it Sprint/Verizon or was it T-Mobile/AT&T as the ORIGINAL carrier/service provider before you had the device UNLOCKED.

This actually just sold on another platform so in removing the post. I am however selling my wife's iPhone 5 64GB Unlocked phone. Same specs as this phone.

But to answer your question, this was/is an Unlcocked GSM AT&T phone.
