I've used Slim as my daily driver on the Gnex and the GS3. Wireless tether is built into the ROM.

Depending on the size of the flat rate box it's anywhere from $6-$18 for 2 day shipping. I work a split shift tomorrow so I won't be able to find out the exact price until around 4ish.
