$250 today and you've got a deal.

Unlock was done by purchasing an unlock code from a 3rd party. Functionally it's the same as if I had gotten the code from AT&T. It's not going to re-lock.

I've flashed the phone a dozen times and ran multiple RUU and firmware updates and never had it relock.

I can provide you with the unlock code just in case.

Perfect how did you change it to gpe with out root? and would i mess anything up if i try to root it? and do i need to do anything or flash anything to get updates when google release them for the htc one gpe?

the 250 is including the swappa fee and shipping but how much would it be to change shipping from ground to something a little faster?

I think you're a little confused. Root simply means that there is a superuser binary in the /system partition and apps can request to escalate. It's a just at the rom level, so it gets blown out when you flash roms or install OTA updates.

I have unlocked the bootloader, S-OFF and Super CID the phone. I can flash ANY ruu package this way. Some nice fellows at XDA put together an RUU for GPE conversion.

If you want root you just need to flash a custom recovery, then flash the superSU.zip. In order to receive OTA updates you must have the stock recovery installed.

I can root it for you if you want. I'll put the stock recovery back so it's good to go for OTA.

If you use root to install Xposed framework, you have to uninstall xposed before applying OTA as well.

yes can you root it for me. have you confirmed with another sim that it is unlocked?

and what about the shipping?

I was just using it with Alaska communications so yes I can confirm it's unlocked.

Sorry, forgot to mention about the shipping.

USPS priority mail is how I would be shipping. I drop my packages at the state sorting facility [Anchorage International airport] and they are received within 3 business days.

If you require faster, I can ship Express mail, FedEx or UPS for an additional fee. The latter two are likely to be in the $30+ range coming from Alaska.
