Could you please go to this website and check the ESN to see if it will work for Ting? https://ting.com/byod And then post a screenshot with the results?

Also, does this device require a SIM card? Thanks so much!

Lynn, The Ting site has been unreliable. It has been reporting devices can be activated but then the user has issues getting it activated. So unfortunately you cannot rely on the Ting site to tell you. https://ting.com/blog/changes-to-the-byod-program-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/ has more info about this.

Yes the device can be activated on Ting. I actually used to use it on Ting but no longer have it activated. This phone does not require a SIM card.
