Black Nexus 5 with tons of extras and fast ship- GSM

I am selling my much beloved GSM black 16gb Nexus 5. I bought it new and immediately put it in a case and used a screen protector every day. The screen is perfect. The body is also perfect. There are two small imperfections on the back that actually came that way from the factory, but I didn't care at the time - You will not see them in a case anyway. Like I said, this is an otherwise perfect phone in mint condition. I am only selling because I upgraded to a Nexus 6 to join Project FI. Pure stock experience - no carrier branding or apps whatsoever. It is currently running Android Lollipop 5.1.1 - The last update prior to Android M in the Fall. There are no problems with this phone and the battery still charges and discharges normally. This Nexus 5 comes with a reusable iblason screen protector which is in pretty good shape, an armorbox case with built in screen protector, a spigen black rubber case, and a nice clear case that shows the Nexus logo on the back. Comes with the original box, instructions, and charger with cable. I will also include a Jabra car power plug. Nothing else to buy!

did you buy the phone through the google play store?

This phone is 100% non branded and does not have one piece of bloatware. Pure Android.

Still perfect. I am just switching my service over to Google Fi, otherwise I would have kept this one. I need a 6 for Fi to work.

What carrier was it used on? I asked if it was bought through the google play store becuase my previous nexus 5 was bought there and it worked on my network.

I used it only on At&t but it was purchased unlocked so any carrier on the same band....

Aug 11, 2015 - 10:01 AM

I'm sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to make sure it works for me. See I use sprint which is a CDMA network while AT&T is a GSM. So if you bought it from the factory then its factory unlocked and it should work for me. However if it is carried unlocked then I would be unable to use it

It was originally a T-Mobile phone so it will work on CDMA - AT&T and T-Mobile. Sorry for the confusion. No branding or apps though. The box says T-Mobile on the side in small letters which I never noticed before.

could you do me a huge favor and test the device here: https://ting.com/byod

apparently sprint(ting's parent company) didn't receive any T-mobile nexus 5 IMEI numbers so unless they are manually added onto the sprint system they wont work on the CDMA side of ting. Basically corporations are screwing people over, so could you just check and see your nexus runs on either/both GSM and CDMA networks of ting?

Dude, the thing is all boxed up and ready to go. I don't even have a sim for it anymore.

Ting screenshot uploaded to gallery.

Aug 11, 2015 - 12:38 PM

Thanks! I was afraid that might be the case. I'll get back with once once I'm certain sprint can recognize the device.
