Can you check to see if this can be used with Ringplus? It seems Sprint has implemented some changes so devices that would normally work are not working so just want to check first to save everyone time. Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply guys -

I've had this since July of last year so unless Sprint is rolling something out on their network I wouldn't know what changes they could make to their device and sadly don't have the luxury / time to find out the answers that is probably in xda somewhere.

I would check with Ting or Ringplus sales reps to see if they know where their customers usually get their phones from. I always thought that Ting / Ring plus and other carriers that aren't VZW or AT&T or Tmobile usually ran their CDMA / LTE network through Sprint but I've used it with Sprint. I'm selling it because I was on a family plan with a friend who switched to Tmobile to bring the rest of his family under the same plan with more discounts.

Hi William, I would like to purchase an S4 today, if you could simply re-confirm that this phone can be activated by Ting. It will take you one minute at the most. Sprint recently made some changes that change Ting eligibility for many Sprint phones. You would have to run the MEID through this Ting page to confirm (on the phone's dialpad, dial *#06# to get the MEID): https://ting.com/byod
