Hey sorry to sound dumb here but what is s-off? is that unlocked?

Nov 24, 2014 - 08:50 AM

Unlocked boot loader that is.

Somewhat. With it being S-Off you can use a custom recovery, flash ROMs etc. Here's an article explaining it a lot better than I would be able to. http://www.androidbeat.com/2014/07/s-htc-device-mean/

Would you flash the 5.0 Lollipop GPE ROM?

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 24, 2014 - 09:53 PM

Sure. No problem. I was running one when I listed this but went back to Sense since I figured that's what people would want.

Nov 24, 2014 - 09:55 PM

Would you also set TWRP as the recovery?

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 24, 2014 - 09:56 PM

Already done. I'll make sure it's updated to the latest.

Latest GPE and TWRP added with pictures.

open to trades?

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 25, 2014 - 06:53 PM

No. It would have to be an incredibly good trade. Sorry.

ok, im looking into going back to android from ios

Chris M. Seller

The M8 would be a good phone to choose. M8 has much better sound than any other Android I've ever heard. Unfortunately I'm just trying to sell. I would only trade for something I could sell for a lot more, which wouldn't be right.

Is there anyother way I can purchase because I haven't had my paypal account for 90 days

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 26, 2014 - 09:22 AM

I'm only accepting Paypal. It's safer for everyone involved that way. I haven't heard of this thing about needing to have it for 90 days. Is that a Swappa thing or a Paypal thing?

Nov 26, 2014 - 09:25 AM

Oh no it's just something I read that is not true. However, when I try to purchase it just says that there is a merchant issue.

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 26, 2014 - 09:29 AM

Hmm. Have you tried contacting Paypal? They are usually pretty good at working with people.

Nov 26, 2014 - 09:33 AM

I'll give it a try

Nov 26, 2014 - 10:58 AM

Yeah I did what they said, but I still get a merchant issue.

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 26, 2014 - 11:14 AM

Sorry. I don't feel comfortable accepting any other forms of payment. Are you possibly ordering from outside the United States? Maybe you haven't verified your address? Those are the only reasons I can think of why it isn't working. What is the exact wording of the error you receive?

Chris M. Seller
- Nov 26, 2014 - 11:23 AM

It seems strange but if it's the error saying return to merchant and try a different payment some people have had success by using a different web browser. If you're trying on your phone maybe try on a computer. If you're on a computer using a different browser could work.

Nov 26, 2014 - 11:28 AM

I'm in the US, and I'll try a different browser

- Nov 26, 2014 - 01:38 PM

If you take 250 I'll buy it this second.
