Heather, it could, but why would you wanted all that ATT bloatwares running since you never used it. Kevin, rooting is just a process of remove all the bloatwares, you can used with any carrier that takes sim card.

I think so. However, the phone is in good working condition, nothing wrong with it. Whatever the pictures tell you, that is the phone condition. I don't see why the phone will be defective when it left my hand.
