iPad has been kept in case since new, however debris caught between device and case has caused many tiny specs. With a black paint and silver undercoating these show up quite well. There is also a gouge on the top left corner as well as the bottom left. iPad works flawlessly and there are minor scratches on the screen that can be seen when the screen is off and held at an angle. Should provide years of reliable use.
