Are you confirming that this iPhone has been unlocked by Sprint for international use. In other words, will it accept a sim card from an overseas GSM carrier?

Sorry for the delay in responding. I am new to this site so I wanted to talk to the tech guy who unlocked the phone for me to get the proper information. The phone is unlocked and can be reactivated with any other carrier. It can work overseas but he said he wouldn't recommend it. It will be no problem anywhere nationwide. He also said since it is unlocked I am selling it below market price so if it is not purchased before this listing expires, I will be reposting it in the unlock category of this site with a price increase.

Dee: Just so you know. Sprint iPhones can ONLY be unlocked for international use--unlike Verizon phones which can be unlocked for domestic or overseas use. You won't be able to list this in the unlocked section because this is a Sprint phone first. Unless you've talked to Sprint's international department to get the sim unlocked for overseas use, you have a Sprint locked phone. You will never be able to get it unlocked for any carrier domestically. Google unlock Sprint iPHone. You'll see. They promise to unlock, but they don't and claim they can't (they can ask Apple to unlock, but they outright lie to customers saying their hardware is designed so it can't be-hogwash.). Hope this helps. I've done this dance with Sprint, so I know first hand. Some people don't know, and saying this is unlocked for any carrier will only get you a returned phone in the end. Ihass, I dont know enough about the process to say if what you're saying is true or not but what I will say is I had it done at an electronic store. Not only do they unlock a lot of phones, they also sell them there for a lot more than what I am charging and that includes Sprint, At&t, T-Mobile and Verizon. So, I find it hard to believe they would give me wrong information when this is their specific business along with cpu repair. Lastly, since I am a novice in this area, that is the reason I offered a 7 day return policy.

FYI, there isn't a store or website on the planet that has figured out how to unlock a Sprint iPhone. In fact, Apple is the only one that can unlock an iPhone with a request from the corresponding carrier via your IMEI. So unless Sprint International told you they unlocked it for international use, your phone is locked to Sprint. Take it for what it's worth. Find a friend with an AT&T or T-Mobile Sim, put it in, and prove it to yourself. I guarantee it won't work. I wouldn't waste my time telling your this--I work in technology and personally had Sprint and wanted them unlocked, Sprint couldn't or wouldn't. I'll never buy a Sprint phone again in my life.
