Red Nexus 5 32gb

Hello! Up for sale is my Nexus 5 in the rarer red color. I have the original box with USB cable and charger. I'll throw in the official Google bumper case as well. If you want a qi wireless charger, I can put a Nokia charging plate in the Boneyard for $10. There is a split in the chassis right where the headphone jack is and another near the sim tray. There is some wear and tear from daily use on it. Here's a gallery of pictures http://bit.ly/1sZbhBg. The sim tray is banged up as well, I have a black one coming in by the end of the month, buyer will receive that (as well as the banged up one) if sell is made after I receive replacement.

Phone has bootloader unlocked, rooted with the stock ROM and TWRP.

Update: the red NEXUS vinyl lettering has come off. The color underneath is still the same red though, you can see in the gallery.

Damage description

Photo shows crack in chassis near headphone jack. Slight wear on sim card tray, had to use tweezers to pull it out, had a wonky sim card adapter.

Hello Sman, In my opinion the phone lost more value because of the sim tray and split across the headphone jack, I understand you're including it with the official bumper case, but honestly i'd only be using it for a short while until I replace it with something else to hide the split. So in the end I would like to offer you 285$. no wireless charger, please respond asap as soon as I get your confirmation I will pay IMMEDIATELY, thank you

I had to bump up the price because the phone has become my only device thus making it more valuable to me. This weekend I should be bringing the price back down. Hope you'll still want it then.

Oct 08, 2014 - 12:18 PM

Depends on how low you'll bring it down to, are you going to accept my offer? If so, i'll be ready to make the payment asap. Just let me know what day, so I can be on my guard

any interest in a trade for a lg g3

- Oct 16, 2014 - 11:31 PM

Look at the photos, this phone is at best in "Fair" condition.

I have to agree with Kenny. This phone has lots of blemishes that OP isn't exactly forthcoming about. I'd be surprised if it sells for more than $275

Sorry guys, I've been busy with work. I did say I jacked up the price because this became my only device. Here's a link with better photos, http://bit.ly/1sRiKRF I will lower the price soon after speaking with oneluckybullet about the G3, I could trade + give you money. Let me know. I also have a replacement sim tray coming in. It's shipping from overseas, hopefully here by the end of the month.

Any chance you could lower the price?

I'd buy it at $250 if you're willing.

Could you please post the first three digits of the serial number please? Thanks!

Sorry, but the serial number starts with either a 3 or 4. I'm not sure where 02d is from.

Willing to trade for an AT&T Galaxy S5 with extras?

- Oct 20, 2014 - 12:18 AM

If you can extend this til friday, I would gladly purchase this from you. Especially if you can hold it for me, I'll give you $325 for it.

sman789 @XDA Seller
- Oct 20, 2014 - 03:05 PM

Jawanza, I'll up the price to 325 now.

Dixon, how would you want to do the trade? Would you send your phone first in good faith? I have a reliable rating but I'm not sure if you trust it that much.

- Oct 21, 2014 - 10:58 AM

The phone is cracked, this should go in the boneyard or sell for way less.

- Oct 21, 2014 - 11:00 AM

Sorry, never mind. I thought the crack went into the screen. I'm willing to pay $250 if interested

sman789 @XDA Seller
- Oct 21, 2014 - 04:36 PM

If Jawanza doesn't purchase it Friday I'll start dropping the price.

sman789 @XDA Seller
- Oct 24, 2014 - 11:23 AM

It's Friday, incoming drops.

- Oct 24, 2014 - 02:04 PM

I agree with @yankeesusa. This should be $200 or so. 2 cracks, letters fell off, scratches and scuffs. For less than $100 more than this I can get a brand new one with a warranty.

@sman789, aren't you wondering why this is the only red one that's not selling? I'll offer $225 and you can keep the case.

- Oct 24, 2014 - 02:05 PM

Oh yeah, and Sim card tray doesn't match....

sman789 @XDA Seller
- Oct 24, 2014 - 02:19 PM

I'll keep it if it doesn't sell.
Red is rarer and it's the larger storage capacity, justifying my asking price.

- Oct 24, 2014 - 02:26 PM

It's not that rare. I can buy it right now in the Play Store. But...it's your listing and you have every right to charge what you want. Good luck and thanks for your reply.
