Sorry John but the price is non negotiable. The price is very strong and your getting the power keyboard which doubles battery life and is very expensive.

what do you mean by power cover, isnt it just a regular type 1 or 2 cover? can you provide link of item or something like that? ]There was a recent sale for 128gb with keyboard AND mouse. If you do $600 you got yourself a deal.

John the power cover is a type keyboard with a large external battery built into it. Its an official Microsoft accessory. It basically doubles the battery life of the surface.

Can you maybe take some close ups of the "normal wear marks" and post them? Also, does the power cover make it significantly thicker and heavier? If so then I'd be interested in just a regular type cover. And are there any noticeable scratches on the screen? Sorry for all the questions.

There's no scratches at all on the screen. The vapor mag coating is similar to an iPhone 5 annodized metal back. No matter how good care you take of it there will be some very small white marks on the back and sides simply from using the device. I had mine in a case the whole time and still happened. They are very small and totally normal wear on a year old surface 2. I posted photos below.

The power cover is definitely heavier than the type cover and thicker. I mean its not that bad though and it doubles the battery life of the device. Please note that it does take away the backlit keys however on the power cover.

How much ram 4gb or 8gb?

Is price $610 for (surface pro 2, power cover, stylus, power adapter)? If so what is price for regular type cover? Would you consider selling with no cover? (Ie just surface, stylus, power adapter)? I just don't know how much I would use the actual keyboard. I'm looking for more of an ipad replacement with the option to run a full operating system for when I want to do some mobile DAW recording.

You need the keyboard to get the full experience its a full windows laptop not a basic tablet that's the beauty of the product. Literally no one uses it without one. It also acts as the cover its basically the same as an iPad smart cover but with keys. The price includes the type cover, stylus, charger

To be clear, I can sell to you without the keyboard and you can use the device, but using it with the keyboard makes it a billion times better. You can easily just clip it off when not using. I can knock $50 off without the keyboard.
