Hi Steve, I know for a fact that Verizon's LTE smartphones are unlocked. I tried it on T-Mobile's Prepaid $30 Plan(5GB Data, 100mins voice, unlimted SMS/MMS). I believe this is due to VZW's agreement with the FCC and VZW's purchase of the 700MHz airwaves a while back. Unfortunately, even though it worked w/ T-Mobile, the S3 doesn't have the hardware antenna(band) that connects to 3G, all I could get was 2G data speeds. I've never tried AT&T or AT&T prepaid networks, so I don't know about Straight Talk. Thanks for your interest and looking.
