It's a small rubber piece that covers the charging port.

There is a little rubber peice that can be used to clip onto the charging port. Most people using the s5 take it off and leave it off bc it's a hassle to always take it off when you want to charge the phone. If you use a otter box type case for the phone it makes it even more difficult to charge the phone. Either way not using the charging port cover does not affect the functionality of the phone and can be purchased on eBay for less than $5.
