Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Black) w/ 10,000mah Battery, Case, Box & Unlock Code From TMobile

Selling my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (T-Mobile) - phone is in mint condition, been in a case with a screen protector during entire time I've owned it. Including case, which has a very light friction mark on the back side. Phone is running a stock rooted ROM currently, has run CM11 with no issues previously.

Also including the ZeroLemon 10,000 milliamp hour battery with custom case. This battery is very well reviewed and will stretch your usage into the multi-day range! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GYD782A/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Our ESN check shows: This device is being financed and has an outstanding balance that must be paid or it may not be able to be used on the T-Mobile network.

I'm sorry, this device is not currently eligible for sale on Swappa. Please notify us once the device is paid off.

I paid off the hardware balance earlier today - just spoke with TMobile support, they noted the balance should show the zero balance by tomorrow. May I request the ESN be re-checked tomorrow morning and updated accordingly? Thanks!

If its paid in full, can you request for the unlock code for the same?

I have requested an unlock code from T-Mobile - they estimate delivery of the code by EOB tomorrow.

SIM Unlock code has been received - process requires a non-TMobile SIM card which I do not possess. Will provide unlock code and directions from TMobile to buyer.

Please review the ESN for availability and update/approve listing as appropriate. Thanks!

Kit, just let us know when you've provided a verification photo.

Would you consider an offer of $400 minus the 10,000mah Battery case? If yes, I will buy it asap its approved.

no a/c adapter or charging cable? I could do 460 now with those if possible right now

@Mohit - thank you for the offer, but I will pass for now. I believe $475 is aggressive pricing even without the extended battery, well below the recent average sales price (especially considering the condition of the few lower-priced models.)

@zoheb - I currently use an aftermarket charging cable (and a USB port on my computer) rather than the one from Samsung. The charger itself may still be in the box in storage. I will check when I get home and if so I will update the listing accordingly. If not, I am more than happy to include an aftermarket USB cable.

Thank you, please let me know. There are no scratches anywhere on the phone?

Kit P. Seller
- Apr 22, 2014 - 02:34 PM

@zoheb - that's correct. There are no scratches on the phone or screen. There is a small wear mark on the lower side of the case itself, but this doesn't affect the structure or function of the case - I have added an additional photo of the back of the phone and the case to demonstrate.

Also, added a screenshot of the battery stats while using the extended life battery... 43% left after 40 hours off the charger. :D

So this has had a custom ROM? But everything back to standard without issue? Had a mint Note 3 purchased but the person reverted from custom to standard (his policy) and bricked the phone. Is there any warranty with its history?

- Apr 22, 2014 - 02:43 PM

I am very interested, but just wanted to set my expectations correctly.

- Apr 22, 2014 - 02:45 PM

Will I need the unlock code if I plan to use with my existing T-Mobile SIM?

Apr 22, 2014 - 02:46 PM

Ok, would you consider $440?

@Kit, available to answer those questions?

Kit P. Seller
- Apr 22, 2014 - 03:24 PM

@jared - that's correct, I ran 3 or 4 custom ROMs on it (including Jedi Elite & CM11 Nightlies) before reverting. I am currently running a Stock *Rooted* ROM, so not technically standard issue, but close.

While rooting by nature (thanks to Samsung's KNOX) voids the warranty, you should be able to put on ROMs fairly easily. You'll want to read the how-to's for your specific ROM to avoid bricking while loading. I have just now performed a factory reset on the phone and it's working just fine (and I still have SuperSU.)

@jared - I am unclear on whether the unlock code is *needed* if you'll be using it with another T-Mobile SIM - I will defer to someone with better knowledge of the unlocking process to provide a definitive answer. But the code is tied to the IMEI, so I will be providing it to the buyer regardless.

- Apr 22, 2014 - 04:05 PM

@Kit, you should be notified that I purchased your item. I will have to read up on ROMS. For now, stock rooted Rom sounds great. I am semitechie by trade, but I have generally had smart phones that do not offer that much on hardware. It will be nice to have root to prevent/eliminate bloatware and begin getting exposure. So, if will this still get overair updates OR will I be following the instructions for the new KitKat 4.4.2 AND I need to prevent overair updates? How are you shipping?

Kit P. Seller

Yes, I just got the notice. Will grab the box from home tonight and get the shipment out ASAP. Will likely come from FedEx, with UPS as a backup plan should I run into issues with the local FedEx office.

I am still running the same version of Android (4.4.2) that I flashed initially. I believe you will not receive OTA updates and will need to manually flash the updates as they are released. Previously I followed the common flashing directions on forums using the Odin tool for this purpose.

For what it's worth, I can also confirm that force stopping bloatware works on the stock rooted ROM, as do the various Wanam tweaks I tried.
