Will, we need to request additional verification for this listing. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please email [email protected] with an unedited photo of the sticker behind the battery of the device showing the ESN with the listing number on a piece of paper next to it. Please include your listing number in the subject of your email. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Will that's a great step, but did you send in the request that Peter mentioned on 3/28? That should get you going once we receive that.

That request for the photo with the ESN was completed on the 28th at 2:36am est. There was a subsequent request sent by email at 2:38am from Prateek stating that my Paypal account had to be verified first. Now that the required criteria has been satisfied, please reactivate this listing.

Thanks again

Hi Will. I really want an unlocked G900T, but I just got burned on Ebay, so I want to be clear on a couple items:

1) Was this phone ever repaired by anyone? The S5's lose their waterproof certification if they have been.
2) Have any components been swapped out for ESN/bad IMEI repair?
3) Has the Knox counter been tripped (set to 0x1)? (Less important, but good to know)
4) How did you unlock it? Did T-mobile do it for you?

Can you please check www.ting.com/byod......thank you

Jonathan.....I don't even understand these questions(except for unlocked) I guess I should.

Here is why I ask them, Pat.

1 - The internal waterproofing seals are often compromised on repaired/refurb phones.
2 - There is a shady business practice rampant on Ebay in which a someone buys a blacklisted phone (unpaid/stolen) and replaces some of the internal hardware with stuff from a broken phone that they got for cheap. The stolen phone will identify itself with the broken phone's clean identifier.
3 - Knox is a feature in Samsung that uses special hardware to verify the security of the bootloader chain. In plain english, it provides a way to see if a phone was tampered with. The implication of a Knox counter set to 0x1 will void Samsung's warranty. In addition, some companies will check for 0x1 and deny access to company email.
4 - The T-mobile route usually means that he paid his bill and got them to unlock it. There are other ways to do it when the phone is not yet paid off and that can come back to bite a buyer.

Does the IMEI pass the T-Mobile verification ? http://www.t-mobile.com/verifyIMEI.aspx
