Unknown Part Display Message Notification Explanation:
- *** Please note that iPhone 11 series and newer may display a message stating, "Unknown Part" or “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple display”, "camera" or "battery" in the settings menu. This does not affect the functionality of the device in any way and it is hidden in the settings menu. This message appears even if a genuine display, camera, or battery was used from another identical phone of the same make and model, including if it was serviced by insurance. It will be disclosed in the listing if applicable. For example: (Display Message Notification hidden in Settings Menu). The little red icon notification will disappear after a couple weeks of use.

The screen, battery, or camera will remain fully functional. Some insurance companies don’t have access to Apple’s system where they can synchronize the serial number of the display or part, to the serial number of the phone, which removes the message. So it’s only just a marketing ploy by Apple to make you worry and incentivize you to go spend more money with them ($199, $279, $329 or more depending on model) to replace it with an identical display or part, but they will synchronize the serial numbers, thus removing the message. ***

- No accessories are included unless otherwise stated in the description. Make sure you are using Apple MFi Certified accessories to protect your device from electrical shorts and battery inflation. United States Postal Service will ship and deliver your item, unless UPS shipping is requested and an additional payment is made. All packages containing lithium ion batteries are required to be shipped via USPS standard ground shipping. Unfortunately there aren't any progress scans that occur to the tracking. The next time you will see an update to the tracking after the acceptance scan, is when it arrives at the destination facility in your state.

All seller return policies are based on the pre-condition that the device is received as advertised and in accordance with Swappa policies.

RETURNS

We offer a 60-Day "Repair or Replace Warranty" for functionally defective devices, no returns or exchanges after 60 days from delivery date. In the event that the device received is defective, please contact us immediately within 3 days of delivery. Any unauthorized repairs done after the device is received without prior permission from us, the seller, will void any warranty. In the event that we do not have a replacement in stock, a refund will be issued. We do NOT do partial refunds.

Signs of use on a used device are not considered a defect or defective. All descriptions are made available to you before purchase. For further clarification about a phone's condition or specific signs of use, please feel free to reach out and inquire before making a purchase. Condition refers to Swappa’s condition grades of Fair, Good, and Mint. Any extended warranty that is offered with the device (30 days - 1 Year) covers any and all manufacturer defects.

If you have changed your mind and wish to return a fully functional device within 30 days of purchase for ANY reason, a 10% restocking fee will be charged on non-defective device returns and refunds. The item must be returned in the same condition and with original packaging contents i.e. (original box and/or accessories). This includes phones with display or battery messages, which will always be disclosed in the listing description. If additional signs of use are present upon item return, or the item is not dysfunctional as claimed, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 50%. No liquid or physical damage or alteration of the device, this will result in voided warranty/return.

Returns are not accepted for NEW factory sealed devices unless the items are retuned in factory sealed, undamaged, original box with matching serial numbers. This is to protect both you (the buyer) and myself (the seller) from any potential fraud and/or scam.

Our warranty covers:
- Manufacturer defects
- Item received significantly not as described
Our warranty does not cover, and fees will be applied for:
- Damage of any type
- Buyer's remorse (changed mind), this includes phones with display or battery messages, which will always be disclosed in the listing description, as well as non-defective device returns for refunds.
Return Requirements:
- Returned device is in same condition as sold
- All iCloud/Google/Samsung or otherwise accounts are completely logged out and removed
- No password locks
- Device is in original box/with accessories (if included in original sale)

PLEASE NOTE: A 5% fee will be deducted for refunds issued due to buyer's request to change an address or buyer's request to cancel a sale before shipment, in order to cover the non-refundable fees that PayPal/Stripe does not return to us when we process your refund.

PLEASE NOTE: Returns will not be accepted if the IMEI does not match. Any claims for non-receipt of item will result in the IMEI being reported as lost/stolen and blacklisted with the carrier. We will also report any fraudulent activity to the proper authorities including our local or the offender's police department, PayPal, Swappa, United States Postal Service and the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
