by chance did it get unlocked by Xfinity? can any other sim card work in it except Xfinity?

Also, is the phone paid off and activated at least 60 days ago?

It didn’t get unlocked by xfinity - I bought the phone through xfinity and it’s been paid off for a while now. I’m sure it could get unlocked if you know how to do that

it should be auto unlocked then by xfinity. Any chance you could pop in another sim card from another carrier and see if it loads up okay or otherwise it would give an error if locked. Could also go to settings. general, about and see what it says under carrier lock. Thanks. Would be purchasing tonight if unlockled

Yep.. that’s a bummer. You could call Xfinity and get them to unlock it , but unfortunately only you would be able to do that (read their unlocking policy). Sim locked would mean Locked only to Xfinity then… if you get it unlocked please let me know!
