Damage Description
This is listed as fair condition and is a bit beat up, but functionally works flawlessly.
- Typecover has inkstain on back
- Typecover front has a rip in the lower-left corner (very common)
- Type cover has assorted scratches on front
- Surface has miscellaneous scratches, paint chips, and paint wear on the back.
- The metal border is dented near the top-left speaker (compare the two speaker photos) - does not impact speaker sound.
- No mechanical or electronic problems, no dead pixels, kickstand works great, battery holds a charge.
- Includes a working 3rd party A/C adapter.

Surface Pro 3 - i5 - 128gb - Fair Condition
This thing has taken a beating. Grading is so subjective, but make no mistake, this falls squarely into the "fair" category. Please look thoroughly through the photos for pictures of any damaged items. Now, it doesn't look like it was runover by a car, but it does look like it was well loved, well worn, and dropped a few times.
But here's the good news: everything works great. It runs very well, there are zero dead pixels, no deep scratching on the screen, and the typecover and it's touchpad work very well too. This was my go-to travel laptop for years, and it served me well. But alas, it's time for me to move on, as I'm no longer traveling for work. Includes working 3rd party Surface Pen (takes an AAAA).
TL/DR: Will not win any beauty pageants, but will serve you well!

Greetings Sarah! The first two photos are showing the metal border next to the speakers. The first picture shows what it should look like, and the second photo shows the metal border is dented towards the speaker. It's a cosmetic issue - doesn't impact the functionality of the speaker.
