You're the guy on reddit I asked about the assistant button remap.
Any chance you'd sell it for a reasonable price or if you're after profit I understand.

Yes I'm the one that did the AMA. Several people sent me messages asking if I'd sell so I figured I'd put it on swappa. You're welcome to throw me an offer 👍

Hello, I'm the guy from ebay. I'm new to swappa.

Jun 16, 2021 - 08:18 PM

I noticed that this is a China model (XQ-BC72). Does it work with T-Mobile on band 71? The US model (XQ-BC62) is of course listed as "coming soon" on Sony's website, but the specs list band 71 among the 4G and 5G bands supported. So I was wondering if the China model was the same as the US model re 4G/5G band support. Thanks in advance.

Hey welcome to swappa! They're fantastic

Yes it is the Chinese model. The international / European / USA models are not out yet and they've just been delayed again due to the application process shortage. Double check with GSM arena, but I believe T-mobile 71 band is not supported. I didn't get to check AT&T 5G since I'm not near any of their towers but according to GSM arena it is supported

LTE+ works np and all the download and upload speeds are perfect.

Jun 16, 2021 - 10:47 PM

Cool, thanks.
I didn't expect this variant to be optimized for US networks, so it's not surprising. I guess I'll just wait for the US model to be released. But thanks for finding out anyway.

Np, LTE in my area is actually faster than 5G as LTE can connect to multiple bands while 5G is only connected to one. I was surprised when I did a Google search and there wetr many posts / articles from people who said LTE was faster as well.

GSM phone only I’m assuming? I’m on Verizon and not sure if it supports band 13?

- Jun 17, 2021 - 03:53 PM

Good deal! Are you firm on the price?

***UPDATE***

So I started doing research the XQ-BC72 (one I have) is **"NOT*** a Chinese version like the 1 II where China had their own variant.

The XQ-BC72 is the Asian variant. There was a thread on reddit about it. Sony made

I just read your AMA thread on Reddit, at least part of it (I'm not on Reddit so I couldn't read all of it), and it was pretty helpful. So thank you for that.
