Hi there, does this have the IR functionality? If not do you have any s60 or s61s for sale?

These do not have the IR Camera/Laser cameras. Only the S60/S61 does. I have 1 CAT S61, but the IMEI reads as all zero's and CAT never released firmware files publicly for me to reset the radio partition in order to reinstate its imei

Some people listed their cat phones on various forums having this imei problem. It hasn’t been solved to this date and imei’s seem to be pretty much damaged. Anyways do the other functions of your s61 work? Whats the overall condition of the phone and how much would you take for it? Thanks.

We could fix that IMEI problem if we simply had the firmware files. Its as simple as putting the device in what's called Bootloader mode, using the Android SDK "fastboot" to flash the modem/radio partition image, then reboot the device. IMEI comes back. Since CAT hasn't released the firmware, we can't do that.

As far as condition, its near mint, still has the screen protector on it with no scratches or anything on it, just the IMEI problem. I use its IR camera for finding short circuits on boards at the moment.

Brother do you plan on selling it? I was looking for one myself, however i intend to just use it for it's IR capabilities...

At the moment probably not, I plan on trying to figure out this IMEI issue since I have the time to mess with it a bit, as well as that's also similar reason as to why I have it, currently use just the IR capabilities with some of our soldering repairs.

I often get them in my device shipments though so I'm sure I'll end up with another one sometimes soon
