Received as a birthday gift last week. Played with it for about 20 minutes and it is not for me, to complicated. I will stick with my simple flip phone. Never connected to a service or used. It is basically brand new in the box. It is Total Wireless, but it will work with all Tracfone owned brands. Tracfone, Straight Talk, Total Wireless, Net10, Simple Mobile, etc...

Hey Thomas, Do you have a warranty or AppleCare on the phone by chance?
It was just purchased brand new less than two weeks ago, so I assume it is still under Apple's warranty. I do not honestly know anything about Apple phones to say for sure. Sorry about that.
Can you check sim restriction?
There are no restrictions. I am not sure what you are asking?
So the phone is unlocked?
Go to Settings > General and tap About. Under Network Provider Lock, you should see a "No SIM restrictions" message.
As the listing says, it works with any Tracfone family of brands.
Can you request to get it unlocked?
After one year of usage, you can request the unlock.
