Hi, it's me again, so this phone would work immediately if I went in and activated in a Verizon store correct?

Yup, that's correct. As a matter of fact you don't even need to take it into a Verizon store. You can just pop your current Verizon SIM into this device and it'll work right off the bat (if your SIM Card size is a Nano SIM and you have Verizon service).

The only thing that might not work is Wi-Fi calling. It may work but I can't guarantee.

Okay thank you, I currently have an S8 I am not sure what type of SIM card it has suppose I would need a new SIM card from a Verizon store would it be an issue transferring over all my contacts and other information I have stored in my current phone to my new phone? Being that it is not a Verizon phone originally?

So the S8 does indeed take Nano SIM cards. So that's the correct size. Sometimes its better to get a new SIM anyway.

The S10 has a transfer option as part of the setup, and even includes a special transfer adapter for your old phone to do so. It SHOULD be able to get all your contacts and other info transferred over without you needing to visit a store, but if it can't, or you don't feel comfortable doing it, you can definitely take it into a Verizon store and they can do it for you even though it isn't a Verizon branded device.
