I do understand about the shipping cost. As you may have seen, I actually offered the express shipping for an additional $55, which is the price quoted to me by the shipping service.

In any event, if we can arrange for a local pickup, and you're ready to move forward, I can drop the price by an additional $50 to $680, and we can close the sale quickly.

Regarding the battery life: it still has the original battery, but has been holding the charge very well for long periods. We really have not seen a spec of trouble from this computer.

I do not have the original box. The battery life is good. I haven't measured it, but I would say that it gets at least 8 hours in normal use.
