As far as I can tell, the phone is unlocked. It did have my brother's phone number on it, but I reset the phone. It's wiped. The screen only says "Welcome" English (U.S.), "Let's Go." It's ready to be set up with your information.

No, I did not insert a different sim card. I took it to a Metro PCS store and the guy there permanently unlocked it, with the existing sim. It's ready to go with whatever carrier you choose. I saw the screen that said "Approved, permanently unlocked."

If you are referring to the micro USB charger cable, then no. I needed an extra one. I did state that in my ad. Those are very inexpensive. You can get one at the .99 Cent store or Walmart. Sorry. In what city are you? In the U.S.?

Aiken: I don't have the original wall adapter or charging cable, but I do have a new black wall adapter and black micro USB charging cable I can include. Fits in the original box nicely. If I include those things, I'll have to increase the price to $50. I would need your full address to know what the shipping will be as far as adjusting the price a little.
Are you going to be reselling the phone?

Gerardo, OK, $40.00. I need your full name and address as that will determine the shipping cost. If I ship it WITHOUT the box, it would be less bulky for shipping and it would cost me a little less. It will be well packed. I can cut off and include the part of the box that has the IMEI #, the SKU #, the model #, and all the other information about the phone. OK?

Gerardo, There is nothing wrong with my account that would prevent you from making a payment to me for my listing. I got a message from PayPal that you should contact them to see what the issue is. This is what they told me:
"There is nothing wrong in your account that could hinder you from receiving funds at all. Please advise the buyer to contact us for further assistance of making a transaction. 1:14 PM - Casey"

If PayPal is denying a payment, this is usually an issue related to the attempted buyer's PayPal account (sometimes related to their lack of a confirmed shipping address: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/shipping-address-outside).

While less common overall, the issue could also be related to the seller's PayPal account being limited, so both parties should reach out to PayPal's support team (preferably over the phone) to ensure their accounts are ready to send and receive payments respectively.

From what we can see, other sales seem to be processing without any issues, so it doesn't appear to be an issue with our site. I called PayPal customer service, 888-221-1161, and the recording said they're experiencing extended wait times, so I could not get a person on the phone. Using the automated system did not result in any help either.
As I stated above, PayPal says there is no issue with my account, that it is not locked. And, the buyer said made another purchase on PayPal and it went through. Very frustrating! I don't know what to do.
Swappa, can you be of any help with this? PayPal is of no help.

Gerardo, I did what you said, believe me, I did call PayPal, the recording said they are experiencing extended wait time so there was no option to speak with a person about this. And, Paypal already told me, through chat, that my account is not locked. I have searched all over PayPal's website to try to figure out what the problem is, but haven't been able to find anything. Usually, I'm pretty good at figuring out things on the computer. The best I can do is to keep call PayPal customer service and hope I can speak with a person.

Did you contact PayPal and did they tell you that my account is locked? If so, that's very strange. Hopefully, we, with some help, can get this worked out and make the sale happen.

Gerado, I DO NOT think you are lying, of course not. I believe you. Why would you lie! Wouldn't make sense.

I just don't understand what's going on. I have never used Swappa before, nor have I ever used PayPal. I have searched all over the PayPal website and could not find anything that would explain what the problem is. This is baffling and frustrating. I really do want to do the transaction with you. I don't know anyone else who has a Swappa account or a PayPal account. Please hang in with me to see if I can get an answer from PayPal tomorrow. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow in Santa Barbara late morning; Santa Barbara is an hour drive from where I live, so driving there and seeing the doctor, then driving back will probably take me around 3 hours.

When I get back, I'll see if I can reach a person at PayPal to get this resolved. I've looked at all of my account information and I can't see that there is anything that is missing or incorrect.

Check that you have the same Email AND address on PayPal AND swappa if you have written wrong or if anything Is differ they might block until you verify AND ITS the same. Also the address physical AND mail address needs to be the same on both swappa & paypal

I did all that. I only have one email address and one cell phone number; it all matches on each acct. I'm guessing that I would have received an email letting me know if something didn't match. I have not gotten any notifications from Swappa or PayPal about anything being incorrect or omitted. I know you're just trying to think of what could be wrong, too. Thanks. After all the messages/chats I've written to PayPal, surely I'll hear something from them. I can call again, too, when I get back from my doctor's appt. tomorrow. Hang in there, Gerardo.
