Maria, the item is BRAND NEW and has NOT been opened. It's not enrolled in applecare+ yet. It can still be enrolled until July I'm guessing. Not sure though, that's for you guys to do after you buy it lol.

I'm referring to the "ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period")." This can be determined by entering the serial number online. I appreciate your response.

If its never been registered, there is a good chance that the warranty won't show on the warranty check site.
The buyer might have to go in and manually fill in a date. In my experience though, if they give you the option to fill in the date yourself, most times it has to be at least a month or two prior.
