I know you say new and never used but just since it's opened, would you mind doing a batteryreport in cmd? If you're not familiar with how to do this, hit the start button and type cmd, then hit enter. Once in the command prompt, type powercfg /batteryreport. Then open the file it outputs and it will show the cycle count and the current mWh.

I added the picture of the battery report thingy you requested. The device was updated to the newest drivers. It was also updated and restarted for various windows firmware updates. Would you like any other reports thingys or more pictures?
