nvm just looked at Wikipedia, it does have a microSim slot. But the next question is, what is the exact model number of the phone ? Some Nexus 6 can be used on Republic but not all. Depends on the model number.

Remove any current SIM cards from the phone
Install the Republic Wireless application from the Play Store
Once installed, open the Republic Wireless app
If the application says the phone is not compatible, then it cannot be used with Republic
If it is compatible, it will prompt you to buy a SIM card

Very cool. Passed the first hurdle. Now that I know it will work on Republic, I need to research of it will support the billing plan and roaming I need. Off to check that now, their support probably won't get back to me until some time tomorrow.
