Do you know the purchase date? I believe that's the starting point for adding AC+ (within 60 days after purchase).

Hello, no I don't swry. but I was lead to believe ac+ could be added within the 1 yr warranty.

i.e. The end date shown here - Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support - won’t necessarily be accurate until you activate it. So the email message is telling you that your extended two year warranty end date won’t show until you activate that device (your AppleCare+ was registered at purchase, but that adjustment won’t show on your account until you activate). The web site is simply explaining the default warranty period dates.

It's definitely not within the first year, that's an old option from Apple, it's within the first 60 days after purchase, from several support documents:

Head to Apple’s add AppleCare website

Choose iPad, then enter your serial number or sign in with your Apple ID

Follow the prompts to purchase AppleCare within 60 days of buying your iPad (you’ll need to complete a remote diagnostic)

went to the website. After typing in the serial number,its not eligible,but still under warranty.
