It was once sent back to Apple for the widely known SSD and logic board (the motherboard inside macbooks) issue on the mid 2017 model and now they are working both very well. The screen comes with an extended 4-year warranty from Apple due to wearing of the anti-reflective coating, and the starting date was from late 2017. Therefore if there is something wrong on the screen, you can send it back to Apple for free replacement.

The price has changed to 720 exclusively for Xiu Z. for 24 hours in case this was bought by others by mistake.

Hello Steven, yes the warranty has expired. This was bought in late 2017. However, the screen still has 2 years replacement due to the known issue of wearing of anti-reflective coating.

Hi Vadim, if you really don't have a US based account, I will need to change the price to 725 so that we share the amount of extra Paypal fee (4.4%-2.9%=1.5%, 720*1.5%~=10, I will pay $5 and you do as well). Generally, if you use an international Paypal account, the Swappa staff will let you pay for the extra fee; but here I can share it with you if you wish to buy this.

Well, it is not usually, but this extra fee is just not fair to sellers. That's why Swappa staff ask buyers to cover this fee.

Hi Fred, thank you for your interest. The screen does have very very minor keyboard traces (under normal use or when the screen is black it is not noticeable at all), but because it is a common issue, one can hardly avoid this phenomenon after multiple years of use. But if someone is unhappy with its invisible existence, then the screen can be replaced at any time. They will install a new screen.

However that is not a failure actually. The screen has multiple layers and the worn layer is just the outer one. The inner is still like new.

Kids, that’s why you should not put stickers on your laptops

Generally that is true, but a sticker can be applied on a skin, as long as the skin does not leave stains on the surface.
