I have a Samsung S5; screen's dead, phone works. It's a Sprint phone, I have an active account. If I take the SIM from the S5 and put it in this phone, does that activate it....I can use it right then? If not, what do I need to do? Also, how would I pull my contacts and any stored files across. I'm interested, just not sure how to do it. Thanks.

You can insert your SIM card if it fits into sim tray. You need to activate your new phone with Sprint. A Sprint store can help[ you transfer all your data from old phone to new one.
