The description doesn't answer either of my questions.

Theres a section in the listing that says damage description. Check it out .

"Damage Description: There device light use there is a nick by the power button."

It does not say "There are no scratches on the screen." It does not say anything about scratches. So if this is something a buyer is concerned about, they might ask you that question. I have purchased phones on Swappa that did not mention scratches in the damage description, but they showed up scratched. I have also purchased phones on Swappa that specifically said they were not scratched, but they showed up scratched, hence my interest in having an answer to this specific question.

Your unwillingness to answer my questions tells me I should just move on.
