This is Samsung unlocked device unlike several network unlocked devices which do have CDMA activation restriction. I checked the imei on Verizon to see if the device could be used with Verizon and it says, "your device should work on our network". I am happy to share screenshots of the same if required.

About your other question, the pictures are showing highly reflective aspect of what is not even visible under normal light conditions.

I think that is more of a iPhone to show the battery health up until the point you need to replace it.

I know iPhone allows user to get that info. However I am not specifically aware of such thing in Android. But, this handset is hardly used and usually gives me over a day use in one charge and it comes with superfast charging. So I haven't had any issues with it yet.

But am happy to provide you any battery related info if you have specific ways to check that
