Is there a reason the logic board and screen were replaced?
Yes! They spontaneously failed. Neither I nor Apple could figure out why so they replaced with new parts for free.

Matthew, I'm not sure about the battery. I've had it since 2016 and it spent most of its life on my desk plugged in (not sure if that's good or bad for the battery, but FYI in case in makes a difference either way). The machine has been reset so I can't find out battery information without setting it up again and downloading a new app.

battery manufacture date is in 2018, was the battery replaced at any point?
