I use straight talk I didn't mean to break any rules I just opened an account I just wanted to make sure the phone wasn't a carrier unlocked phone and it was bought from Samsung as unlocked
It should work on straight talk if you have an activated sim card. It is unlocked by Samsung. Check the box I uploaded a picture.
Sorry i didnt know it was on the box I just wanted to make sure. I bought a phone from Ebay that was suppose to be Samsung unlocked and it was a AT&T unlocked phone. It was caused me to have dropped calls and it would not send text messages. Plus it would not update for the life of me.
I don't have a straight talk sim to test, but this updated without issue to the June 19 security update. I put in a Mint Sim without issue, so you should be good as long as you input the correct settings.
