Can you provide info on the repair? What does google certified mean? Is the IP68 water resistance rating affected?
I broke the screen, so I got it repaired at UBreakIFix, which is the only Google partner to do certified repairs with OEM compenents (vs your typical mall kiosk repair place). The water resistance on current devices is mostly due to rubber gaskets around speakers and ports, which are unaffected by the screen repair.
