Have you used this for gaming? If so what kind of fps were you getting on home WiFi?
I mostly used it for the htc vive and it worked great. When I would play pubg using my 27in 144hz monitor I would get around 90-100 fps. I have a Netgear nighthawk router so wifi strength was never really a issue in my house
Thanks for the prompt response! Also, does it run hot? Are the fans loud? I had heard that these laptops have a tendency to get loud when used for gaming.
Yeah it can get hot, and the fans can get loud if your playing something like black ops 4 but I don't notice it when I have my headset on
Alright, thanks for the honesty. I'm still interested. Since someone sold a 1TB version of the same laptop for 900 a month ago I'd be willing to do 800 and then I can feel comfortable spending 100 on a portable HDD for game storage. Does that seem reasonable?
