if its new it means that it has never been activated right? and does it have apple warranty? if it does for how long?

That's correct Peter, never activated; it was in shrink-wrapped but had to open it just to test for any defects (and also to check battery health, which is 100%). It was literally only been powered on once (and now fully charged, ready to go for the buyer). I don't believe it is under Apple warranty anymore though. Thx!

where did you buy the phone? and why it doesnt come with an apple warranty if its new?

Got the phone almost 2 years ago and has been sitting unopened all this time. The warranty has already expired but the phone is guaranteed to be working. (or your money back). Hope this helps!

Totally understandable, Darrell. Alternatively, happy to send it to whereever it is you're going (if you're flying within the U.S.) so that it will be waiting at your destination. USPS Priority Mail will ship to most places within 2-3 days at no charge. Otherwise, safe travels to you and your family!

I am very interested in this phone. Is it still available? I have Verizon. Can I take the phone to Verizon and will it automatically work or what steps would I have to take for it to work.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your interest, the phone is still available, although one small gotcha in that we're currently away on Jul 4th vacation and back the week of July 8th. If you can wait till then, I will be happy to rush this to you. The phone will automatically work out of the box with your Verizon SIM card, there is no need to take it to the store or call Verizon....except of course if you need to start a new service with Verizon. If you take the SIM card out of your old phone and pop it into this phone, it will activate automatically. I hope this helps and let us know if you have further questions!
