Ymmv but metro phones aren't supposed to get unlocked until after 6 months... There should be an app on your phone called "device unlock" that should tell you if it's locked or not (if you don't have the app it's unlocked)

I didn't know that policy. I checked with AT&T and they said my phone is compatible. Bought out the phone when i got it also.
