what is on the back side of the phone? it's wavy...

Is it clear for use off of fi?
Yes, I've tested it with a TMobile SIM card and was able to get LTE data and phone calls.
If you're asking if it's been paid off, yes, it was bought at full retail price at the time of purchase.

Are there any scratches underneath the tempored glass? Is the dust on top of the tempored glass? Also is this a google edition? Can you check to see if i can activate this with Total Wireless: https://www.totalwireless.com/activation/byop/collectesn?carrier=VZW
There are no scratches underneath the tempered glass. Yes, there's dust on top of the tempered glass as well as scratches on the tempered glass. However, the phone is in mint condition. I do not want to remove the tempered glass just in case something happens.
This phone was purchased from Google Fi - it's not labeled "Google Edition".
I entered the IMEI number into Total Wireless's website and it is verified that you can activate this on Total Wireless. This is the message that I get:

Is the chip just on the screen protector?
Yes, the chip is just on the glass screen protector. There are no cracks originating from it either.
