Hi Cathy, sorry for the late reply just got out of work.

This Apple Watch was just recently purchased on April 6, 2019 and was never taken out of the box. According to the Apple Warranty Status page it is unable to display coverage details as I do not have an iPhone to activate it with. I am assuming it does have Apple's new device warranty for new products though.

Just so you don't think I am spewing nonsense I posted a picture of the Apple Warranty status page that I am shown when looking up this Apple Watch.
