Hey Juan,
Interested in purchasing. Would you be able to check if the device is showing as compatible with Sprint's One Year Free plan? https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/bring-your-phone-to-sprint.html?INTNAV=LP:BYOD:Shop:030918
If you could post a picture of the the results (obscuring or just leaving out the IMEI of course).
Thank you!
Hello munchyum!
Phone was with Boost, but before being used with sprint it have to be unlocked by yourself or by the sprint department performing a RESKU process. However, I do not perform those procedures or unlock them as I do not have the contact who can unlock it and it is a time consuming task! If interested, ask me any questions you may have sir!
Hey Juan,
Thanks for fast response!
Totally understood, and I appreciate you checking with me and letting me know beforehand :)
I'm in touch with a Sprint rep who might be able to re-sku the devices from BM to SPCS, but just wanted to first check if the Sprint BYOD site shows it as compatible at all. Would you be able to throw the IMEI's through the BYOD checker to see what the system says?
Thank you!
Hello Munchyum!
Yes, I do check the site but it says is not currently compatible. However, I do call customer service and let me know the phones can be reskued to make them compatible with the sprint CDMA network, as Boost Mobile is a subsidiary of sprint! Let me k is if you get any news!
Hey Juan,
Thanks!
Would you be able to temporarily post a screenshot with the message the Sprint site is showing for both the 6S and 6S Plus? They wanted me to send them a screenshot actually showing what error message is coming up as they claim it should't say that for Boost Phones (Sprint is difficult to deal with).
You can hide or delete the screenshot afterwards if you don't want it showing on your listing :)
Thank you!
Can you check it out Munchyum!
Thanks Juan!
I'll send this to them and follow up with you. Please delete or hide the image (by going into edit listing and then photos and hide the photo) as it contains the IMEI.
Thank you! :)
Hey Juan,
He just got back to me. Said the IMEI is invalid and isn't tied to any device. Can you double check you entered it correctly into the Sprint BYOD checker?
Thank you!
Hello Munchyum!
I already updated the photo! I am sorry for the inconvenience, I missed one number. Let me know! The phone says it owes something, but phone was bought at Boost Mobile, with receipt and everything!
Hey Juan,
Thank you! I'll forward it to him and see what he says. I'll let you know.
Do you know if the 6S Plus is saying the same thing?
You can remove the IMEI if you'd like :)
Thanks again!
Thank you Munchyum!
