I see a lot of scratching around the USB port. Is the USB at all finnicky or do you ever have any problems with connecting it to a charger or PC?

No issues with charging. What you see is the black anodizing has worn off because my wife used a USB-C cord with a metal plug. Purely superficial.

I'm awaiting word from Google currently after my Pixel XL died during an OTA yesterday morning. If they say that I'm out of luck, I'll come back for this phone (if it's still available) :)
What is odd circular mark above the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone?
Ha! Just noticed that! It's a reflection of the can light in my ceiling. I guess I need to take a new back picture
