Hi, Would you mind sharing what was wrong with the first one, why this might not have that problem, and why you've decided to sell?

Hi, the previous unit had an issue where the screen would flicker when it was at a low brightness setting. The tech determined it to be a faulty display and said a new unit was warranted. The reason I am selling is to help pay for a desktop PC I am building.

Thanks- did you find that it didn't have the power you needed for tasks? I thought the 1060 and 16gb could take care of content creation tasks photo/video editing and programming, at least decently? Maybe not?

No, not at all. The Surface Book 2 has tons of power and I was able to run AAA games on it no problem along with doing productivity work. I am not a content creator but I don't think anyone would complain about the performance in doing those sort of tasks.
